@MemoriesByMarissa is back for the summer & I couldn't be more thrilled! Not only is she my wonderful photographer up for anything, but she's my dear friend. <3
I bought this dress for the sole purpose of Dapper Day festivities. My plan was to wear this dress, my Domestic Dame apron, my Shoe Bakery, and a doughnut purse. Kind of a "disney" bound as myself I suppose.
I wore it!
Just had to switch out the shoes half way through.
I feel in love with this dress! & can now see me owning it in different colors.
It was simple, yet breath taking.
It made you feel proper, but it also was very light and airy.
Problem is my short little torso (again).
It was altered again so that the dress didn't dip to low in the front & that the shoulders fit snug instead of lifting up.
Weird how the shoulder fabric lifts to high and the "V" dipped to low.
When putting it on be careful.
The fabric never ripped, but it stretched out at the seams a bit.
It also made the sound that it was ripping and of course that gave me a heart attack!
It's just a very comfortable summer dress!
My grandma would be so proud. She always hated when I would wear black in the summer or dark colors and I would wear light colors in the winter. I'm just unique what can I say!
Don't forget to stay scrumptious ladies and lads!
