RETRO RECIPE REDO | Prosciutto Wrapped Dates

Well I finally did a | RETRO RECIPE REDO | <3

Worth the year long wait....let me tell you!

Now, it may not look like anything special, but don't let the interesting color combination scare you. It's DELICIOUS!

{RECIPE}
8 dates per slice of prosciutto - so depending on how many you want to make!

- Prosciutto
- Pancetta (for caramelized snacks on the side)
- Dried & pitted Dates
- Sprinkly of Brown Sugar
- Drizzle of Honey
- Goat Cheese

Slice dates in half and set aside. Spoon a teaspoon of goat cheese into each date half. Take a slice of prosciutto and cut into 8 pieces. Wrap goat cheese filled dates with one of the prosciutto pieces. Put on a cookie sheet lined with foil and arrange the prosciutto wrapped dates. Next to the dates lay out evenly pancetta pieces. Across all the pieces sprinkle brown sugar, being a little more generous over the pancetta. Put in oven for 7-10 minutes at 400*. Pancetta may need a little extra time to become caramelized. Drizzle honey over plate and arrange the dates! Place a tooth pick in and ENJOY!

 

They were the best straight out of the oven, but even the next day as I took one out to enjoy, it was like pizza...even good cold.
