Hi there dolls!
Dapper Day at Disneyland has come & gone. I will be honest when I say it was a stressful trip for me, but all in all it was still perfectly magical! It was the first "Dapper" "Pinupy" "Retro" "Vintage" day at Disneyland that I have attended. The outfits I saw were magnificent & it was very clear to see that lots of thought & time were put into many of these outfits! I saw probably the most Disney Bounding I have ever seen, met incredible (with the exception of few, but that's a story for another day) ladies & gents.
Though Dapper Day started in 2011 & is an unofficial Disney Day, darlings came from all over & you couldn't look in any direction without spotting a well dressed dame or gent.
My favorite little story from the day; As I was standing in line at the Castle waiting to take a picture, a woman came over to me she asked, "Is there a competition going on?" I said no no, just enjoying the dapper day. She then tells me, "I hope you don't mind I was taking pictures of you while you were eating at the Plaza Inn." I have plenty of photos of me eating so it didn't started me & I found it quite the compliment.
I feel so silly saying this, but if anyone wants to know what I'm wearing (imagine a very snobby voice, because that's how I'm saying it all in my head). Let me tell you my OOTD (for those not keeping up with acronyms it means Outfit Of The Day - your welcome.)
Dapper Day 1:
Skirt is from Pin Up Girl Clothing & so is the top! (stole her look, I know)
Shoes are from Bait Footwear!
Hat is from a thrift shop in Hayward called 2525 Vintage (one of my favorites).
Dapper Day 2:
Dress: Collectif Clothing
Cape - Unique Vintage:
2525 Vintage in Hayward
Shoes - Bait Footwear:
A separate post about the food is necessary. As I fear many of you have clicked exit by now, but if you've made it this far keep your eyes peeled for that. ALSO! A vlog on the youtube will be up tomorrow as I am still recuperating from this weekend (& the drive).

On a side note:
Meeting these two people = the same sort of reaction. I can't use words & I sound so ridiculous. I came up to Sarah Snitch & was like "You're on Youtube, I watch your videos, can I take a selfie." /If you ever meet me you'll see right away I'm not the best at the speaking part of life. What I meant to say when meeting Sarah Snitch..."I love your videos. You are incredibly talented & the outfits you come up with are spot on. Would it be at all possible to take a photo with you. Thanks for chat! I look forward to seeing more of your videos." Of course all the good/normal lines come after the fact. Instead I hold my palm up to my forehead & shake my head.
Same thing happened with the fairy godmother. -_-
