You've probably heart of Voodoo Vixen from such lovely bloggers as Chicago Chic or Miss Amy May, but now you're hearing about them from lil ol' me. Voodoo Vixen sent me two STUNNING dresses; The Donna & The Maggie May.
For now, marvel in all that is The Donna Dress...
As soon as I slipped into this dress & zipped it up I knew it would become a staple for me during these summer months. Why, might you ask?! It is incredibly light weight & the fabric breathes. I'm truly looking forward to taking it over to Florida in a few weeks time to test it out even further!
The silhouette is even better then in the picture! It comes right below the knee (perfect length in my expert opinion!) The way it has a tad higher neckline (I'm a sucker for anything that's remotely different in the neck region. Oh. My. Goodness. I can't believe I haven't mentioned it yet. Get ready.
It. Has. Pockets.
What girl doesn't like a couple of hidden pockets in their dress! You can keep your pocket mirror, your lipstick, maybe some pepper spray...you never know...BUT you do have pockets, so it's all an option.
Last, but not least, whether you decide to wear crinoline petticoat or go without, this dress works on both levels. In the pictures I'm wearing a white crinoline, but the next time I wear it I'll go without & it will give it a little more 1940s vibe to it.
In this picture I'm wearing a size medium & it fits perfectly!
